Get support

You can learn on your own, but the NHS website recommends you get support from a Fertility UK practitioner if you want to use fertility awareness as contraception.

You don't know what you don't know. T
alking things through with a specialist can make everything easier, as well as more effective.

Before you book support, please read Is fertility awareness is right for you?

I offer two options. Either a complete support package or a single session chart check/Q&A.

Complete support package

If you're new to fertility awareness as contraception, or just want extra support, this is probably your best option. It includes:
  • One hour private Zoom call with me for you (and your partner, if they want to join us). This includes a check of your cycle history and any health issues, training on how fertility awareness works, and practice charts to help you understand to interpret your data.
  • Follow up email support for as long as you need it, checking charts and answering queries. Usually this means between two and six questions and charts but some women need more support, or get in touch years later because they've had a tricky chart which is absolutely fine.
  • Kit. Charts and guides for you to print (based on Fertility UK materials). You need to buy your own thermometer. Any standard fever thermometer is fine. One decimal point is plenty.
Pay what you can. I want my support to be accessible (and pay my bills!). These are your options:
  • Supporter rate: £95. Thanks for supporting my work.
  • Standard rate: £85
  • Lower-income rate: £65
  • Concessions: £45. Please email me if this price is a barrier.

Single session - Chart check and/or Q&A

If you've decided to learn on your own, you might find you have some questions, or some tricky charts.

This is where a chart check/Q&A session can help. It includes a 30 minute Zoom call, based on your charts and questions, and a follow-up email.

I also offer a 30 minute call to those who want to get pregnant. This includes a general discussion of you and your partner's health, any charts, and advice on the best time to have sex.

If appropriate, I will suggest you contact your GP, or a specialist fertility clinic. I'm not attached to any clinics so won't give you a "hard sell".

Pay what you can. The support is the same for everyone:
  • Supporter rate: £55. Thanks for supporting my work.
  • Standard rate: £45
  • Concessions £25. Please email me if this price is a barrier.

How to book

Appointments are usually on a Monday or Tuesday afternoon but I can do other times on request.

If you want to book yourself in, or have any questions, send me an email: [email protected]

I look forward to hearing from you!

What people say...

"Sarah is a fantastic teacher and a wonderful open-minded individual to confide in....I would have found it much more difficult and would have been very hesitant to try this method without Sarah...I feel like the person I used to be."  (Maria)
